September's Book To Read:
'When You Find Out the World Is Against You And Other Funny Memories About Awful Moments' by Kelly Oxford
You are probably not already aware of how much I like Kelly Oxford. And her new book is equally as good as her last one. If anything, it's a little more intimate than her first one in a way that I didn't expect.
As might be expected from her Twitter account, Oxford has a gift for snarky one-liners and self-effacing humour. This was a quick no non-sense read that still made you think. I would suggest her books to anyone who needs a little humour on top of real issues.
