You Pick Experience - Sunday, September 14th

Where beauty is gathered, one stem at a time.

The fields are open, and the flowers are ready to be gathered. Despite a season shaped by prairie weather: heavy rains, wild grass weeds, and strong winds... the garden still carries its own kind of beauty, kind of. It may look a little different this year, but the joy of walking the rows with shears in hand remains just as magical.

Join us for a guided You-Pick experience at Ophelia Farm Co., where you’ll learn a little about each bloom, discover how to snip and care for stems, and create a bucket filled with flowers that speak to you. Whether you’re a flower enthusiast or simply craving a unique outing, this is a slow and grounding way to spend time in nature.

Optional Picnic Add-On : Elevate the experience with a seasonal picnic, complete with a charcuterie cup and beverage (canned pop/cocktail/wine) for each guest. Groups of 4 or more will receive a shared board. Perfect for birthdays, bridal showers, or long-overdue friend gatherings. (Add both ‘You pick’ AND ‘Add on’ to your cart)

Blooming this week: Sunflowers (towards end), Zinnias (all varieties), Cosmos (all varieties), Pincushion/Scabiosa (all varieties), Orach (2 colours), Amaranth (all varieties), Queen Annes Lace (all varieties), Ornamental Basil (all varieties), Yarrow, TBD 

What to Expect:

• Wander the rows with shears in hand, guided by our team

• Learn proper stem cutting, cleaning, caring and arranging tips

• Fill a bucket with blooms you’ve handpicked yourself, and be guided to arrange them in a take home mason jar

• Optional picnic experience for an added touch of joy

Important Notes:

• Our garden is set on prairie terrain and is, sadly, not handicap accessible at this time  (especially challenging this year).

• This is a working flower and grain farm. Expect bees, mosquitoes, uneven ground, and sun exposure. Please bring sturdy footwear, bug repellant, water, and sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, etc), and/or a layer incase a chill breeze. 

• While we love animals, pets must remain at home for the comfort and safety of all guests. Service dogs are welcome, please contact us ahead of time for accommodations.

• In case of rain, you may either attend and receive a pre-picked bucket or reschedule for another day. Severe weather will result in cancellation and a full refund.

• Spots are limited and must be reserved in advance. Our farm is also our family home; directions are provided after booking. Located just 10 minutes outside Eston, SK on a gravel road.
