Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost and transplant outdoors once all danger of frost has passed. Germination can be slow and uneven, so patience is key. Pre-chilling seeds in the freezer for 10 to 14 days, or placing freshly sown trays outside for a few weeks before bringing them back to warmth, can help encourage more consistent sprouting.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest once the green bells begin forming along the stem. Remove leaves from the lower half of the stem, as they tend to yellow quickly. Expect a vase life of 7 to 10 days.
