Strawflower ‘Pomegranate’, also known in the trade as Bright Pink, brings a confident pop of color to the cutting garden. Blooms in a rich pomegranate hue are striking both in the landscape and the vase, offering just the right balance of brightness and depth. This shade plays beautifully with soft blush tones as well as deeper jewel palettes, making it a flexible favourite for both fresh and dried arrangements.
Used fresh, these papery blooms add texture and color through the heart of summer. Dried, they become true everlastings, holding their shape and vibrant tone indefinitely. Pollinators adore them too, making this variety as hardworking as it is eye-catching.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors about 6 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors once all danger of frost has passed. Seeds require light to germinate, so press gently into the soil and do not cover. Bottom-water until seedlings emerge.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when flowers are about half open and before pollination for best color and structure. Expect a fresh vase life of 7 days or more. To dry, remove foliage and hang stems upside down in a warm, dark place until fully firm.
