Stock ‘Buttercream’ is one of those flowers that feels instantly nostalgic. Full, fluffy blooms open in the gentlest buttercream yellow, paired with a distinctive spicy fragrance that drifts through the garden and lingers indoors. Thriving in cooler weather, this hardy annual brings beauty and scent to the season when the garden still feels fresh and hopeful.
A handful of stems goes a long way, adding volume, warmth, and fragrance to bouquets and garden beds alike. With a natural mix of single and double-flowered plants in each packet, planting a little extra ensures plenty of those lush, double blooms designers love.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Sow multiple seeds per cell indoors about 6 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors while the weather is still cool, as stock prefers mild temperatures. Succession planting is recommended to extend the harvest window. Do not pinch plants.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when roughly half of the florets on a stem have opened. Change vase water frequently to avoid a strong cabbage-like scent. Expect a vase life of 7 to 10 days.
