Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors in trays 8 to 10 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors only after all danger of frost has passed. Plants establish well and grow tall and strong in warm, sunny conditions.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest blooms just as flowers begin to open for the best vase life. Black-eyed Susans are known to darken vase water quickly, even with floral preservative. To keep arrangements fresh, add a few drops of bleach to the water. Expect a vase life of approximately 7 to 10 days.
