A little bit whimsical, a whole lot of charming.
Dahlia ‘Wizard of Oz’ is pure garden joy. Knee-high plants are blanketed in perfectly rounded, cotton-candy-pink blooms that feel playful, nostalgic, and impossibly sweet. This miniature ball variety is a favourite for smaller gardens, borders, and cutting patches where every stem counts.
Because these blooms love to drop petals once fully mature, timing is everything. Harvest them young, when they are about one-third open, and you will be rewarded with tidy, long-lasting flowers that look just as lovely in a mason jar as they do in a carefully styled bouquet. It is a gentle reminder that the best things are often enjoyed a little early.
This is an ideal choice for growers who want reliable blooms without towering plants, and for arrangers who love soft color with strong structure. Practical, productive, and undeniably pretty.
Because sometimes the magic really is in the details.

Harvesting & Vase Life:
Dahlias do not continue to open once cut, so avoid harvesting too early or too late. For best results, harvest when blooms are three-quarters open and petals feel firm and lush on the back of the flower head. Place stems in water with hydrator, or sear stem ends in 160°F to 180°F water and allow to cool for one hour before arranging. Expect a vase life of approximately 5 days.
Proof that a little pink can go a long way.
