Harvesting & Vase Life:
Cut when blooms are three-quarters open for best results. Dahlias do not continue to open after harvest, so avoid picking too early. Choose flowers with firm, fresh petals and avoid any that feel dry. To extend vase life, place stems in warm water with hydrator or sear the ends in 160°F to 180°F water before cooling. Expect approximately 5 days of vase life.
