Shipping begins Late March
The glow-up every late-summer garden dreams of.
Dahlia ‘Hamari Gold’ is a true standout, with oversized blooms in the richest bronzy-gold tones that seem to warm everything around them. This is the flower people stop to ask about when walking through the garden. Bold yet incredibly versatile, its colour plays beautifully with soft neutrals, moody plums, creamy whites, and all the textures of an early fall palette.
As the season shifts and the light turns golden, this variety really comes into its own. Plants are especially striking in late summer and fall, delivering dramatic, dinner-plate-sized blooms that feel both abundant and intentional. It is a workhorse in the cutting garden and a favourite for large, statement arrangements that need one strong focal flower to anchor the whole look.
Reliable, productive, and endlessly mixable, this is one of those dahlias you plant once and then wonder how you ever gardened without it.
Because every bouquet needs at least one bloom that brings the warmth.

Harvesting & Vase Life:
Dahlias do not continue to open once cut, so timing matters. Harvest blooms when they are about three-quarters open, avoiding flowers that are overly mature. Check the back of the flower head for firm, lush petals rather than papery or dehydrated ones. Place stems into water with hydrator, or sear stem ends in 160°F to 180°F water and allow them to cool for one hour before arranging. Expect a vase life of approximately 5 days.
A golden-hour flower that earns its place in the garden.
