Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when blooms are about three-quarters open, checking for firm, lush petals. Dahlias will not continue to open after cutting, so avoid harvesting too early. To extend vase life, place stems in warm water with hydrator or briefly sear ends in 160°F to 180°F water before cooling. Expect approximately 5 days of vase life.
