Strawflower ‘Apricot Mix’, also known as Salmon Rose, is a workhorse with undeniable charm. Long, sturdy stems hold papery blooms in the prettiest blend of peach and apricot tones, adding warmth and movement to the cutting garden. Used fresh, they bring texture and brightness to summer bouquets. Dried, they become everlasting, holding their colour and shape long after the season has passed.
This variety solves the desire for flowers that keep going, well beyond the garden gate. Perfect for fall arrangements, wreaths, and dried floral projects, it also attracts pollinators, making it as useful in the garden as it is beautiful.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors about 6 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors once all danger of frost has passed. Seeds require light to germinate, so press gently into the soil and do not cover. Bottom-water until seedlings emerge.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when flowers are about half open and before pollination for best color and form. Expect a fresh vase life of 7 days or more. To dry, remove foliage and hang stems upside down in a warm, dark place until fully firm.
