Appropriately named for its sturdy, straight, and rigid stems, Iron has shown excellent performance in our trials during spring, early summer, and fall.
With a selection rate of 55% double flowers and the option for doubles, this type is highly selectable.
Compared to Katz, Iron blooms slightly later and has shorter, thicker stems.
Its densely packed florets result in compact 1 1/2–2" blue blossoms with a full and lush appearance.
