Globe Amaranth ‘Rose’ is a gentle, rose-pink beauty that looks as if it wandered straight out of a meadow. Clover-like blooms sit atop branching stems, producing multiple flowers per stem and giving you far more usable cuts than you might expect. It is delicate in appearance but surprisingly tough in the garden.
This variety thrives in heat and truly shines when harvested often. The more you cut, the more it blooms, making it a reliable choice for long cutting seasons. Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors in trays 4 to 6 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors only after all danger of frost has passed. Plants establish quickly in warm soil and thrive through summer heat.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when flowers are fully colored and stems feel firm. Expect a vase life of 14 days or more. For drying, allow flowers to open completely, then hang upside down in a warm, dark place for a few weeks until fully dry.
