The kind of flower that makes you stop mid-sentence.
Trying to describe Dahlia ‘Labyrinth’ never quite does it justice. This is one of those rare varieties that feels almost unreal in person. Vigorous plants with deep, moody foliage produce an astonishing number of large, softly swirling blooms in peachy-raspberry tones that shift with the light. No two flowers are ever exactly alike, and every single one feels special.
It is bold without being brash, romantic without being fussy. The blooms have movement and depth, making them a dream for large-scale arrangements where you want drama that still feels organic and lived-in. Designers love it because it brings instant richness and complexity without needing much else in the mix.
A true workhorse in the cutting garden, ‘Labyrinth’ produces generously all season long, rewarding you again and again with flowers that feel anything but ordinary.
Because some flowers refuse to be simple, and that is exactly the point.

Harvesting & Vase Life:
Dahlias do not continue to open once harvested, so timing matters. Harvest blooms when they are about three-quarters open, avoiding flowers that are overly ripe. Check the back of the flower head for firm, lush petals rather than papery or dehydrated ones. Place stems into water with hydrator, or sear stem ends in 160°F to 180°F water and allow them to cool for one hour before arranging. Expect a vase life of approximately 5 days.
A flower that refuses to blend in, in the very best way.
