Rich, moody, and a little bit unexpected.

Dahlia ‘Crème de Cognac’ is the floral equivalent of a perfectly aged liqueur. Its smoky-gold petals glow softly in the light, while the undersides reveal a deep cranberry hue that adds warmth and depth to any fall arrangement. Compact yet abundant, this variety produces bloom after bloom, offering endless opportunities for gathering, arranging, and admiring.

A favorite for its vintage-inspired tones and dependable performance, it thrives in full sun and pairs beautifully with other warm seasonal colors. Whether gracing a garden bed or sitting pretty in a vase, it’s a reminder that the most beautiful things often come in understated shades.

Because subtle can still be stunning.

Harvesting & Vase Life:

Harvest when blooms are three-quarters open, ensuring petals feel firm and lush rather than papery. Dahlias do not continue to open after cutting, so timing is key. To extend vase life, place stems in warm water with hydrator or sear ends in 160°F to 180°F water and let cool for one hour. Expect approximately 5 days of vase life.

The perfect bloom for those who love a little drama in their garden.
