Celosia ‘Flamingo Feather’
Shipping : Mid/Late February 2026
Soft movement, gentle colour, and an unmistakably romantic feel.
Celosia ‘Flamingo Feather’ is one of those flowers that feels light as air in the garden and even lighter in a bouquet. Delicate pink plumes emerge upright and feathery, slowly softening to the prettiest blush as they mature. Often called wheat celosia, this variety has the same charming, touchable quality as pink Bunny Tails grass, bringing softness and movement wherever it’s used.
Strongly branching and heat-loving, these plants are incredibly generous producers, covered in airy plumes that are perfect for bouquets and wedding work. They solve a common design challenge by adding texture without heaviness, giving arrangements a relaxed, romantic finish that feels effortless rather than styled.
Fresh or dried, ‘Flamingo Feather’ earns its keep. It blends beautifully with pastels, creams, and garden neutrals, and transitions seamlessly from summer into early fall work.
Because the most memorable arrangements are built on texture.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors in trays 4 to 6 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors only after all danger of frost has passed. Plants thrive in warm soil and sunshine and branch beautifully with early pinching.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when flower heads reach the desired size, but before they begin to set seed. Strip approximately 80 percent of the foliage from stems at harvest. Do not place in a cooler. Expect a vase life of approximately 10 to 14 days. Flowers can also be dried by hanging freshly cut stems upside down in a warm, dark place for 2 to 3 weeks, or until firm to the touch.
A feather-light favourite that brings softness to every bouquet.
