Black-eyed Susan ‘Sahara’ is a breathtaking reinvention of a familiar garden favorite. This abundant mix features large, mostly double blooms in a softly moody range of dusty rose, milk chocolate, warm copper, pale lemon, and rich merlot. Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors 8 to 10 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors once all danger of frost has passed. Patience is rewarded, as these plants take time to establish before producing an abundance of blooms.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when flowers are just beginning to open. Black-eyed Susans are known to cloud vase water quickly, even with preservative. Adding a few drops of bleach helps keep the water clear. Expect a vase life of 7 to 10 days.
