Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors 8 to 10 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors once all danger of frost has passed. Warm soil and patience are key, as this variety takes its time but rewards you generously once it begins to bloom.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when flowers are just beginning to open. Black-eyed Susans are known for clouding vase water quickly, even with preservative. Adding a few drops of bleach to the water helps keep stems fresh and clear. Expect a vase life of 7 to 10 days.
