Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Plants dislike being transplanted and perform best when direct-seeded in the garden in fall or early spring. If starting indoors, chill seeds in the freezer for 10 to 14 days before sowing to encourage germination.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest flowers when they are about three-quarters open, or allow pods to form and harvest those instead. Fresh flowers have a vase life of approximately 7 days. Dried pods last indefinitely and can be dried by hanging stems upside down in a warm, dark place for 2 to 3 weeks.
