Craspedia 'Drumstick Flower'
ETA: Shipping begins Mid February
Bold little globes that do all the work.
Craspedia is one of those plants that instantly adds personality to arrangements. Perfectly round, sunshine-yellow globes sit atop long, stiff stems, creating a playful, sculptural accent that feels both modern and timeless. The form is graphic and clean, making it a favorite for designers who love strong shape without fuss.
This is a true workhorse in the cutting garden. Stems are easy to harvest, hold their shape beautifully, and last exceptionally well in the vase. Even better, craspedia dries effortlessly and keeps its color, giving you months of use long after the garden season has ended. The grass-like, silvery green foliage adds to its relaxed, unfussy appeal, and plants tolerate heat with ease once established.
Whether tucked into fresh summer bouquets, dried arrangements, or minimalist displays, craspedia solves the need for something textural, long-lasting, and a little unexpected.
Because sometimes one perfect shape is all you need.

Growing Notes:
Craspedia is typically grown as an annual in cooler climates and is a tender perennial in Zones 8 to 11. Start seeds indoors and transplant after all danger of frost has passed, or direct-sow once soils have warmed. Plants prefer full sun and well-drained soil.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when globes are fully formed and bright in color. As a fresh cut flower, craspedia has an excellent vase life. For drying, hang stems upside down in a warm, dark place until fully dry. Dried blooms retain their color and structure indefinitely.
A cheerful, graphic staple that brings lasting impact to every arrangement.
