Cosmos ‘Apricotta’ is one of those flowers that never looks the same twice, and that is exactly why we love it. Fresh blooms open in a warm tangerine tone with a gentle rosy center. As they mature, the rose hues deepen, giving each flower an almost iridescent quality that catches the light beautifully. The shifting colour makes arrangements feel layered and alive rather than uniform.
Tall, airy plants are incredibly productive, sending up waves of blooms all season long. This variety solves the problem of bouquets feeling flat by adding movement, lightness, and a perfectly imperfect colour palette that pairs effortlessly with both soft neutrals and richer tones.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before last frost, then transplant outdoors once all danger of frost has passed. Cosmos can also be direct-seeded once the weather has warmed for a simple, low-effort approach.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when buds are just beginning to crack but not fully open. For double varieties, allow blooms to open halfway before cutting. Expect a vase life of approximately 5 to 6 days.
