Zinnia ‘Benary’s Giant Lilac’ brings a moody elegance to the summer garden. Among the largest-flowered zinnias available, this variety opens in a vivid lilac before slowly softening at the edges to a pale, cool lavender. The result is a bloom with depth and movement, offering a quietly haunting beauty that feels both romantic and modern.
Tall, vigorous plants produce long, strong stems with excellent disease resistance, solving the common challenge of short or floppy zinnias. With a high percentage of full, double blooms, this variety delivers abundance and reliability for both cutting gardens and bouquet making.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before last frost, then transplant outdoors once all danger of frost has passed. Zinnias can also be direct-seeded after the weather has warmed. Pinching encourages branching and more blooms.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Use the wiggle test before cutting. Hold the stem about 8 inches below the bloom and gently shake. If the stem bends, wait. If it remains firm and upright, it is ready to harvest. Do not place zinnias in the cooler. They can cloud vase water quickly, so add a few drops of bleach to keep stems fresh. Expect a vase life of about 7 days.
