Zinnia ‘Dawn Creek Blush’ feels like a quiet morning garden come to life. This large-flowered pastel mix drifts between soft pink, palest lavender, and gentle blush, with the occasional surprise of ivory or soft peach tucked in. No two blooms are exactly alike, which is exactly what makes this variety so special.
Many flowers feature a striking cactus-like form, with petals arranged in varying degrees of fullness that add texture and movement to arrangements. Long, strong stems and exceptional productivity make this a favorite for cutting gardens, offering armfuls of blooms that feel romantic, relaxed, and thoughtfully undone. Originally sourced from Kori at Dawn Creek Farm, this mix brings a sense of story and intention straight into the garden.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before your last frost. Zinnias are very cold sensitive, so wait until all danger of frost has passed before planting outdoors. Seeds can also be direct-seeded once the weather is consistently warm. Pinching encourages branching and increased bloom production.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Use the wiggle test before cutting. Hold the stem about 8 inches below the bloom and gently shake. If the stem bends, wait. If it stays firm and upright, it is ready to harvest. Do not place zinnias in the cooler. They can cloud vase water quickly, so add a few drops of bleach to keep stems fresh. Expect a vase life of about 7 days.
