Sunflower ‘Sunrich Gold’ is a true staple in the cutting garden and one we grow in abundance for good reason. Flowering just 60 to 70 days from sowing, this single-stem variety delivers uniform, dependable blooms right when you need them most. Clear golden-yellow petals surround a soft greenish-yellow center, creating a fresh, classic look that works in everything from market bouquets to simple kitchen jars.
Bred for cut flower production, this variety offers strong stems, consistent sizing, and clean lines, solving the need for sunflowers that behave beautifully in both the garden and the vase. It is cheerful without being overpowering, classic without feeling predictable.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Direct-seed outdoors once all danger of frost has passed, or start indoors in trays and transplant after 2 to 3 weeks. Sunflowers grow quickly and prefer minimal root disturbance.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when the first petals just begin to lift away from the central disk. Remove about three-quarters of the leaves from the stem before placing in water. Expect a vase life of 7 to 10 days.
