Stock ‘Katz Purple’ is made for those who love depth and drama. Tall spires of ruffled, dark grape-purple blooms rise above fresh green foliage, each flower accented with a glowing green eye that gives this variety its jewel-like quality. Highly fragrant with that unmistakable spicy scent, it thrives in cooler weather and brings instant richness to market bouquets and garden beds alike.
Just a few stems add height, texture, and bold color to arrangements, making this variety especially well suited for jewel-toned palettes and statement bouquets. As with all stock, each packet produces a mix of single and double-flowered plants, so planting extra ensures a generous supply of those lush, double blooms designers reach for first.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Sow multiple seeds per cell indoors about 6 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors while the weather is still cool, as stock performs best in mild temperatures. Succession planting can help stagger harvest times. Do not pinch plants.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when roughly half of the florets on a stem have opened. Change vase water frequently to prevent a strong cabbage-like scent. Expect a vase life of 7 to 10 days.
