Statice ‘Sunset Mix’, also known in the trade as QIS Apricot, is widely considered one of the very best statice varieties you can grow. With papery blooms in soft sherbet shades of rose, peach, orange, apricot, and pale creamy gold, this mix brings warmth and depth to both fresh and dried arrangements. The colour range blends effortlessly with everything from muted neutrals to richer autumn tones, making it endlessly versatile.
Easy to grow and incredibly productive, this annual is a favorite for beginners and seasoned gardeners alike. It solves the problem of wanting flowers that last beyond their moment by offering beauty that holds its shape and color long after the garden has peaked. Fresh or dried, these blooms earn their place again and again.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors about 6 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors once all danger of frost has passed. Seeds require light to germinate, so press gently into the soil and do not cover.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when all flowers on a stem have appeared. Cutting too early can cause wilting. Expect a vase life of 7 to 10 days when used fresh. For drying, hang stems upside down in a warm, dark place for 4 to 6 weeks.
