When cut, Queen Anne’s Lace emits a sap that may irritate skin and can cause scarring in severe reactions. Wear gloves and long sleeves when harvesting. This plant is also potentially poisonous to livestock.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost and transplant outdoors while temperatures are still cool. Seeds can be slow to germinate, so chilling them in the freezer for 10 to 14 days before sowing helps improve success. For continuous harvest, succession plant every 2 weeks.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when about 80 percent of the flowers on a stem are open, as stems may wilt if cut too early. Wear gloves and long sleeves to avoid skin irritation. Expect a vase life of 6 to 8 days.
