Ornamental Grass ‘Frosted Explosion’ is one of the most productive cuts you can grow, and one of the most fun to use. Tall, sturdy green stems are topped with shimmering silvery seed heads that truly resemble fiber optic wands, catching the light and adding instant movement to any arrangement. Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors about 6 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors once all danger of frost has passed. For continuous harvest through summer, plant three successions spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest stems at almost any stage, from just emerging to fully opened. The more mature the stem, the larger and more dramatic the seed head becomes. Expect a vase life of 7 to 10 days.
