Larkspur ‘Fancy Pink’ is the largest-flowered larkspur we have ever grown, and it makes an immediate statement in the garden and the vase. Towering stems are densely packed with full, bubblegum-pink blooms, each finished with a soft white center. The flowers are so lush they’re often mistaken for delphiniums, bringing that same romantic height with far less fuss.
This variety is a dream for anyone who loves pastels. It adds sweetness and structure to spring arrangements, working beautifully with other soft tones while still holding its own as a focal flower. Just as lovely fresh as it is dried, it extends its usefulness well beyond the growing season.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Larkspur performs best when direct-seeded. Sow in late fall or early spring, or start indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost and transplant out while temperatures are still cool. Seeds can be slow to start indoors, so chilling them in the freezer for 10 to 14 days before sowing helps improve germination. Extremely cold-tolerant, larkspur can be fall-planted even in very cold climates.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when about one-third of the blossoms on a stem are open. Larkspur is highly sensitive to ethylene, so keep it away from ripening fruit. Expect a vase life of 5 to 7 days. For drying, allow all but the top 3 to 4 blooms to open, then hang stems upside down in a warm, dark place away from bright light for about 2 weeks.
