Celosia ‘Flamingo Feather’ is one of those rare plants that feels light as air yet makes a lasting impression. Delicate pink plumes float above the foliage, slowly softening to blush as they mature. Often called wheat celosia, this variety has the same gentle, tactile quality as pink Bunny Tails grass, bringing movement and softness to every arrangement.
Strongly branching and heat-loving, these plants produce an abundance of feathery blooms that are especially beautiful in bouquets and wedding work. They solve the challenge of adding texture without heaviness, offering a refined, romantic look that layers effortlessly with both fresh and dried flowers.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors once all danger of frost has passed. Warm soil and sunshine are essential, as celosia thrives in heat and struggles in cool conditions.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when flower heads reach the desired size but before seeds form. Strip about 80 percent of the foliage during harvest. Do not place stems in the cooler. Expect a vase life of 10 to 14 days. Blooms also dry beautifully. To dry, hang stems upside down in a warm, dark space for 2 to 3 weeks until firm.
