Basil ‘Cinnamon’ has been a longtime favorite for good reason. Incredibly fragrant and wonderfully generous, it fills the garden with a warm, spicy aroma that instantly elevates summer and early fall arrangements. Dark purple flower spikes rise above fresh green leaves and rich, chocolate-toned stems, creating contrast and depth that feels both refined and relaxed.
This is one of those plants that quietly transforms everything it touches. If your bouquets ever feel like they are missing a finishing note, this basil adds it through scent, color, and texture all at once. Easy to grow and highly productive, it earns its place season after season with very little effort.

Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors about 6 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors only after all danger of frost has passed and the weather has warmed, as basil is very sensitive to cold. Warm soil and full sun encourage strong growth and abundant foliage.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when stems begin to toughen or when flower buds start to form. Cut during the coolest part of the day to reduce wilting. Immediately dip the lower stems in boiling water for 7 to 10 seconds or use Quick Dip, then place in cool water. Expect a vase life of 7 to 10 days.
