Seed Sowing & Growing Notes:
Start seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before last frost, then transplant once all danger of frost has passed. Amaranth can also be direct-seeded outdoors after frost for a more hands-off approach. Warm soil and sunshine encourage strong growth.
Harvesting & Vase Life:
Harvest when seed heads are about three-quarters open for the best color and form. Remove most foliage to highlight the cascading tassels. Expect a vase life of 7 to 10 days.
