Shifting Seasons: Cozy Fall Decor Faves
Good morning, friends!
Can you believe it’s already October 3rd?
Fall is in full swing, and while I absolutely love the coziness of the season, the whirlwind of retail life keeps me on my toes.
We just finished decorating the entire house with all the fall vibes—pumpkins, wreaths, chunky blankets, you name it.
But guess what?
No sooner had we settled into our cozy fall setup than we had to turn everything around and transform the space into a full-blown holiday wonderland.
Yes, the Christmas tree is up, the garland is on the mantle, and holiday tunes are playing in the background.
The joys of retail!
Don’t get me wrong, there’s something magical about bouncing between seasons.
While it’s a bit early to fully dive into the holiday spirit, I’ve kept a few fall touches lingering—like my favorite cozy blankets and a wreath on the front door—to ease the transition.
So, before I get fully swept away by Christmas prep, I’m sharing some of my favorite cozy fall decor picks with you below—just in time for you to style your space.
For me, transitioning from summer to fall is one of the easiest and most enjoyable seasonal changes.
At home, I love swapping out light throws for cozy knit blankets and plaid throws, and hanging my favorite faux rose hip wreaths on the front doors.
The perfect way to welcome fall while still holding onto a bit of that festive feel.

SCALLOPED BOWL | 9. ANTIQUE IRON MUSHROOM | 10. BLOCK PRINT BED QUILT | 11. CAROLINA SEAGRASS BASKETS | 12. TIDES FLATWARE | 13. WOODEN DECOR BEADS | 14. TROVA MUG
And let’s not forget the pumpkins!
I love stopping by any pumpkin patch to pick up a mix of white, soft orange, and greenish-grey pumpkins.
I line them up along our front steps and scatter them throughout the house—they add such a natural, eco-friendly touch that feels effortlessly stylish.
Plus, once they start to fade, they head straight to the compost!
I also like to introduce warm gold accents throughout our home for the fall season—gold candle holders, wire baskets, and, of course, golden cutlery for those cozy fall dinners.
And no matter the season, you’ll always find candles lit around the house—they add that warm, flickering glow that makes everything feel so much cozier as the days get shorter and the air crisper.
How are you decorating for fall?
I’d love to hear how you’re styling your home before the holiday rush!
